The differences between retail interiors, events, festivals, restaurants and even hotel lobbies are becoming increasingly blurred. Spaces that traditionally have been about delivering a product or service are now rightly seen as the physical manifestation of a brand. The focus of these new environments should always be the customer experience.
At Banbury Walker Studio we specialise in experiential design and apply that approach across all spaces where brands physically engage with their customers. Our projects have included the design of entire festivals, concerts, restaurants, pop-up shops and ice rinks. The scope of our work ranges from simple exhibition stands to Olympic opening ceremonies.

Design development

3D design

Graphic design
We design graphics for print, display and digital platforms. We predominantly work on campaigns that complement and promote our event projects. As 3D designers our graphic design approach tends to go beyond two dimensions and morph into sculptural, video and digital assets.
3D visualisation
Our background and biggest strength is our 3D visualising. We combine technology, flair and construction knowledge to bring the most complicated concepts and structures to life. Whether you need accurate lighting simulations, verified architectural views or just superb looking images, we have the expertise and resources to support you.
Animation
Our animation and film work ranges from flythroughs to camera matched sequences. We green screen live action into animations, work with special effects and produce compelling motion graphics.
Labs
Banbury Walker Labs is a forum for us to communicate with people who are interested in the research and development of design techniques and new digital ideas. When we get time in the studio, which is not often enough, we work on non commercial projects to increase our skills, investigate new technologies and explore the new digital world.
What we are hoping to achieve by uploading our unfinished and unpolished studio work is a dialogue with people we do not yet know. We are always looking for new collaborators and fresh ideas.
